Autumn activities for schools

The nights are fair drawing in but there is still plenty to do.

Mapland Alba is a great indoors activity which everyone can take part in. As well as being fun, the activity is great for enhancing understanding of maps, distance, scale and bringing out stories and place-names. We come to you and bring the map. A session generally lasts about an hour so different classes can visit throughout the day. Our instructors lead each session and ensure that learning is enhanced. 

Orienteering and navigation skills are also suitable for shorter days and we can start sessions inside before moving to a larger course in the school grounds or nearby.
