_________________________________________________________________

In this special, 171 mile and week long journey, we will travel through some of Scotland’s most incredible landscapes, and we won’t use anything but the power of our legs to do it!

After taking an ocean voyage from Oban to Barra, we will jump on the bikes and follow the beautiful roads of the Outer Hebrides (with a ferry or two along the way!) until we will arrive after five days at the Butt of Lewis lighthouse in Ness. You will take in views that will stay with you forever and meet new friends and the Gaelic-speaking communities of the islands. The Spòrs Gàidhlig minibus will follow all the way with bags and, more importantly still, with food! Each day there will be an opportunity to get to know the islands, and we will stop at beaches, hilltops and important historical sites along the way.

There’s no denying it, the trip will be a real challenge, but one that can be overcome and that will offer fantastic opportunities for personal development and fun! We will use exclusively Gaelic all the way and the journey will increase each member of the team’s confidence using the language.

If you have any questions about the trip’s suitability for you, one of the team will be delighted to speak to you and offer advice regarding equipment, fitness requirements or any other aspect of the trip.
