These workshops are aimed at professional outdoor practitioners, looking to improve their understanding and pronunciation of key venue names amongst other areas.
Join the Spòrs Gàidhlig team for a series of interactive sessions looking at the Gaelic place-names found in Scotland’s mountain environment, how to pronounce common venue names and elements, and the meanings behind the names.
This first series of sessions will take place on the following dates; Mon 27 November, Mon 4 December, Mon 11 December and Mon 18 December, online, via MS teams, beginning at 7pm and lasting around an hour to an hour and a half.
Participants are welcomed to attend each session, or drop-in and out as the series progresses, with each week looking at different areas, tailored to the areas of interest to participants.
These sessions are being offered free of charge – however there is only limited availability, so sign up quickly!
